Acadia Vessel #8 was the first piece completed in 2019. Like Acadia Vessels #5,#6 & #7 it was the result of my time as Artist-in-Residence at Acadia National Park in June 2018. One of the most prominent features of the location was the line between sea and land, how it changed while always being the same. I tried to capture the sense of that here.
