This piece, Willow/Poplar Vessel, uses the cloisonné enameling technique to describe leaves from these two types of trees common in central Alaska where Harlan was Artist-in-Residence at Denali National Park in the Fall of 2010. The vessel depicted on this page is a one-of-a-kind artwork, hand-made by the artist.
